High Bar Harbor is a family oriented community made up of single family dwellings. Many families are year round inhabitants; however the majority of homes are still seasonly occupied. The residents, in general, seem to have a passion for observing the beautiful sunsets and exotic migratory and indigenous birds, enjoying crabbing, swimming, good fishing and boating, and the company of their friends and neighbors.
